Beaches and the coast have always interested me. I'm currently combining my love of seascapes with the people that inhabit and enjoy these places.

There's a story behind the Gig racing paintings. Ten years ago, myself and the 'boys' were outback in the surf. It was a big day and challenging to catch waves. After an hour a Surf Gig Race started and the sea was boiling with Gigs and rescue craft. I've had it my mind to do paintings from this for years!
